This list starts with a disclaimer, saying that I will disagree with their list, and it's true that I disagree with it. However, this is still one of the more interesting lists I've come across, simply because I haven't heard about a lot of the titles on it.

Because Edge is a UK magazine, it's understandable that they're a little biased towards UK titles. It's hard to imagine that Super Mario Bros wasn't one of the top 50 games of the 80s, in fact I think it might have been #1. Also, Ms. Pac-Man but no Pac-Man? No Galaga?
